Monthly Visitor Parking Pass Limits
Many properties that use iStall for visitor parking enforce a monthly limit on the number of visitor parking registrations per unit. This limit is set by your property management and is designed to prevent abuse of visitor parking spaces.
How Monthly Limits Work
Each unit is allocated a set number of visitor parking registrations per calendar month. Every time a visitor registration is submitted for your unit, it counts toward the monthly total. When the limit is reached, no further visitor registrations can be submitted until the next calendar month begins.
The limit applies regardless of whether the registration was used for the full duration or cancelled early.
What Happens When You Reach the Limit
When you attempt to register a visitor and have reached your monthly limit, the system will notify you that no more passes are available for the current month.
What To Do
Contact your Property Management Office. Your building manager or property management company sets the monthly limit and may be able to authorize an exception. They may also be able to request an Extended Visitor Parking pass on your behalf.
Request Extended Visitor Parking. Some properties offer an extended visitor parking option that operates outside the standard monthly limit. See our article Requesting Extended Visitor Parking for details.
Important Notes
- Monthly limits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
- The limit is set by your property, not by iStall. iStall cannot override or increase property-level limits.
- If you believe your pass count is incorrect (e.g., the system shows passes used that you did not register), contact iStall support with your unit number and location ID.
