Monitoring Visitor Parking and Detecting Abuse

iStall tracks visitor parking patterns at your property and flags potential abuse automatically. This helps you enforce visitor parking policies without manually reviewing every registration.

Visitor Parking Stats

On your lot dashboard, the Visitor Parking Stats card shows:

  • Average Daily Visitors — the typical number of visitor parking sessions per day.
  • Peak Visitor Time — the time of day when visitor parking is most heavily used.
  • Average Sessions per Visitor — how many times each visitor plate registers on average.

Click Details to see the underlying data in more depth.

Potential Abuse Detection

The Potential Abuse card highlights three types of high-usage patterns:

  • High Usage Plates — license plates that have registered for visitor parking an unusually high number of times.
  • High Usage Units — units that are generating a disproportionate number of visitor registrations.
  • High Usage Codes — visitor parking codes being used at abnormal rates.

These flags don't necessarily mean a violation has occurred — they're indicators worth investigating. Click Details to review the flagged items and decide whether action is needed.
