Managing Translations
iStall supports multi-language content for properties that serve diverse communities. Translations apply to user-facing content such as parking type names, descriptions, and instructions.
How translations work
iStall uses a two-layer translation system. The first layer handles application interface elements (buttons, labels, navigation), which are translated automatically based on the user's language preference. The second layer handles property-specific content (parking type names, descriptions, custom messages), which must be entered manually for each language.
Translation format
Property-specific translations are entered in form fields using a structured JSON format that includes values for each supported language. The system selects the appropriate language based on the user's language setting.
Supported languages
iStall supports English, French, and Spanish. The language selector is available in the site navigation, allowing users to switch at any time.
