Setting Up a New Property

To add a new parking property to iStall, you configure it through the Admin Portal's Lots section.

Steps

1. Go to istall.app/admin and click Lots.
2. Click the option to add a new lot.
3. Enter the property details: name, address, Location ID, and contact information.
4. Configure the lot's basic settings — patrol rules, enforcement policies, and any override settings that differ from the lot group defaults.
5. Save the lot configuration.

After creating the lot

Once the lot exists, you'll need to configure its parking types, codes, stall maps, and availability settings. These are covered in the following articles in this guide.

Lot Groups

If this property belongs to a group of properties that share enforcement policies and fee structures, assign it to the appropriate Lot Group. Lot Groups provide default settings that apply across all member lots, reducing repetitive configuration.
