Working with Stall Maps
Stall maps provide a visual interface for residents to select their assigned parking stall. They are used with the Stall Picker parking type, typically for reserved carport or assigned parking.
How stall maps work
When a resident registers using a code linked to a Stall Picker parking type, they see a visual map of available stalls. They select their stall, and the system records the assignment.
Creating a stall map
Stall maps are configured in the admin portal for the specific lot and parking type. The map defines the layout of available stalls, their labels, and their current status (available, occupied, or reserved).
Stall status management
Once a stall is selected by a resident, it is marked as occupied and is no longer available for selection by other users. When a registration is cancelled or expires, the stall returns to available status.
