Why Your Vehicle May Be Blocked From Parking

If you are trying to register your vehicle at a parking location and receive a message that your vehicle is not permitted to park there, your license plate may be on the property deny list.

What Is a Deny List?

Property managers can maintain a list of license plates that are not permitted to register for parking at their property. If your plate is on this list, the system will prevent you from completing a parking registration.

Common Reasons for Being Blocked

  • Unpaid parking notices. Some properties block vehicles with outstanding unpaid violations from registering until the balance is resolved.
  • Repeated violations. Vehicles with a history of repeated parking violations at the property may be added to the deny list by the property manager.
  • Property management decision. The property manager may have added the vehicle for other reasons related to their parking policy.

What To Do

1. Contact the Property Management Office at the location where you are trying to park. The deny list is managed by the property, not by iStall. Only the property manager can remove your vehicle from the list.

2. Resolve any outstanding parking notices. If you have unpaid violations at the property, resolving them may result in removal from the deny list.

3. Contact iStall support if you believe there is a system error or if you cannot determine why your vehicle is blocked. Include your license plate number and the Location ID.
