# iStall - Cannot Log in to Website


Having trouble signing in? Don’t worry; we’re here to help you get back on track! Here are some steps you can follow to resolve common login issues.


### Reset Your Password


The simplest method to fix login problems is to click on the "Forgot my password" link on the login page. This will prompt you to enter your email address. Once you submit your request, check your inbox for a password reset link. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.


### Password Requirements


When creating a new password, it’s important to choose one that is both secure and memorable. We recommend that your password consists of at least 8 characters, including:

- One uppercase letter (A-Z)

- One lowercase letter (a-z)

- One digit (0-9)


This combination helps ensure your account remains secure while still being something you can easily recall.


### External Authentication Provider Error


If you encounter the error message stating, “that account is managed by an external authentication provider. Please visit their site to reset the password,” it indicates that your account is linked to an external service, such as Google. In this case, try logging in using the password associated with your Gmail account.


If you can’t remember your Gmail password, you may need to reset it. Visit the Google account recovery page and follow the prompts to regain access to your Gmail account. Once you have reset your Gmail password, return to iStall and try logging in again.
