Account Deletion & Data Review Policy


We understand your right to request deletion of your iStall account and personal information.


Because iStall is used to manage parking access, permits, and enforcement on behalf of property owners and managers, account deletion requires a short review process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of shared parking records.


Why account deletion requires review


Your iStall account may be linked to:

  • Active or historical parking permits

  • Enforcement records (e.g., warnings, violations, or disputes)

  • Property-managed parking assignments

  • Financial or audit records required by property owners or regulators


In many cases, this data is not owned solely by the account holder and may be subject to contractual, operational, or legal retention requirements.


What happens when you request deletion


When you submit a deletion request:

  1. Your account is immediately restricted

    • Login access is disabled

    • Notifications and communications are stopped

  2. We review associated parking records

    • To ensure no active permits, disputes, or property-managed records are affected

    • To prevent accidental loss of shared or legally required data

  3. We coordinate with relevant property management (if applicable)

    • This ensures parking operations remain accurate for residents, visitors, and enforcement staff

  4. Personal data is deleted or anonymized where permitted

    • Once review is complete, personal identifiers are removed

    • Records that must be retained for compliance or audit purposes are anonymized where possible

Timeframe


Most deletion requests are completed within 7–14 business days, depending on the complexity of associated parking records.
