If you receive an error stating that your phone number is not associated with your unit, it usually means the number entered during registration does not match a phone number your guest is providing in attempting to register as a visitor.


This is most commonly caused by:

  • A typo when entering your phone number

  • Using a different number than the one originally registered

  • Attempting to register a guest using a number not linked to your account


How to Fix It


You can add the correct phone number to your account in a few simple steps.


Step 1 – Sign In


Go to iStall.app and log in to your account.


Step 2 – Open Account Settings


Click the three lines in the top-right corner.

Select My Account.


Step 3 – Go to Notification Settings


Click Notification Settings.


Phone numbers listed here are used for:

  • Guest registration validation

  • Time-sensitive notifications (such as enforcement warnings)

  • Account verification if you call or text support


Step 4 – Add or Edit Your Phone Number

  • Click Add New to add another phone number

    OR

  • Click Edit beside an existing number to correct it


Enter:

  • The correct phone number

  • A name label for the number


Click Save.


After Updating


Once your phone number has been saved in Notification Settings, retry your visitor registration.


The system will now recognize the updated number.


If the Issue Continues


If you still receive the error after updating your phone number, contact support and provide:

  • The Location ID

  • The phone number you are attempting to use

  • A screenshot of the error message
